Honolulu itself is the capital of Hawaii and offers big-city attractions. However, it’s easy to travel between islands and experience all that this gorgeous state has to offer. Visit some of the best beaches in Hawaii to relax or try out a new water sport like surfing. And, don’t forget about the outstanding food scene with a variety of options including authentic Hawaiian cuisine.
3. Charleston, SC
If you’re researching great military towns, Charleston should be at the top of your list. For any avid golfers, San Diego is an ideal place to live as there are more than 90 different courses in the area. During your time off, you can explore the outdoors or eat your way through the city’s many top-notch restaurants.
