My life feels chaotic, and nothing is going smoothly. Some of it I did, some of it was done to me, and some of it just occurred. Other times I feel anger, and at times I feel shame. And sometimes, to be really honest, I feel absolutely nothing. I could use assistance during these difficult times, and I am willing to accept assistance from any source concerned with my wellness. Prayer after loss to the Creator of everything
I require some consolation at the moment. My heart is in pieces. I have lost a family member. My life feels odd and turned upside down. I feel as though my remarks lack force, and I have lost confidence. On occasion, I awaken with a fleeting sense of joy at being alive, but an overwhelming sense of guilt always follows this, and I descend once again. Sorrow has become a constant companion, even a friend. My prayer to you is that you would assist me in allowing sadness to do its work, and that when it is complete, the wound of loss will heal. I hope that one day I will be able to welcome these memories without this level of sadness. To greet thoughts of my beloved with a modest grin and affection. Please God, assist my healing. Amen
